Capitains' Corner

THIS YEAR, IT IS PERSONAL:

Get ready lady 'Cats.  The season is about to begin and we are chomping at
the bit to get going.  For many of us, this is our last year of lacrosse,
our last chance to win a state championship.  We want to make the most of
our last opportunity and we all need to be united toward winning it all this
year.  We can still taste the bitterness of losing in the semi-finals at the
end of last year.  We clearly were not ready to play that day and we got our
butts kicked.  So we build on that experience and realize we have a lot of
hard work and preparation ahead of us.  We can do it, we have the potential
to win it all!  There is payback to the teams that took advantage of us last
year, whether it was running up the score or just not respecting us as a
good lacrosse team.  These are the things you need to remember and to get
you stirred up!  Pre-season has started, you guys need to all be there
everyday!  It starts NOW!  We have officially retired the old belly barring
uniforms (ha-ha) and have new home and away jerseys.  Let's christen them
with a state championship.

We will use this blog to keep the team updated but also to motivate and
encourage you all to be at your best.
